Born in Nottingham in, schooled in Solihull, University of Hull BSc (Economics).  Started work with Ford Motor Co in Basildon – Tractor Division 25 years with Willis insurance brokers as qualified accountant – both in Ipswich and London; 3 years as proprietor of Kudos Secretarial Services in Saxmundham; 5 years as proprietor of  Kudos Rock Salt – all around the country at shows, exhibitions and fairs; 4 years with Hudson Signs in Needham Market.   I am keen on sport particularly Rugby Union, Formula One and Golf.  Enjoy playing golf, reading and walking.

I have been a Babergh District Councillor since 2003 representing Pinewood and a Suffolk County Councillor since May 2013 representing Belstead Brook Division. I really enjoy the extra breadth of working in both tiers of local government – it has given me the opportunity to get involved in more of the issues affecting the residents. I hope to make a difference.
